About Marty
Marty Maldonado is the Managing Principal of CodeSure Consulting Group LLC and a senior engineering and operations executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across federal government, military, infrastructure, housing, construction, emergency management, and international programs.
Prior to founding CodeSure, Marty served as General Engineer and Deputy to the NSPIRE Quality Assurance Division Director at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), where he helped lead the development and national implementation of the National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE). He oversaw housing quality initiatives, inspection operations, quality assurance programs, inspector certification, technology modernization, and operational reviews across the United States and its territories.
Before HUD, Marty served with distinction during a 20-year career in the U.S. Army and later held senior leadership positions with the Army, NATO, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His experience includes leading large-scale infrastructure and construction programs, disaster response and recovery efforts, international engineering initiatives, and complex contracting and procurement operations.
Marty holds a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida. He is a retired U.S. Army officer, native Spanish speaker, and recipient of multiple distinguished service awards.
